What’s New November

Time to Get Frosty

November is here and with it a new Miami event. On November 11th, The Frost Science Museum will be having an event that is truly out of this world. Transit of Mercury with NASA!

On the 11th, Mercury will do a transit in front of the Sun for the first time since 2016! This relatively rare occurrence happens only about 13 times every 100 years. So you don’t want to miss out.

Throughout the day, guests will enjoy real-time live views of the transit as broadcasted globally from a telescope on the rooftop of the museum. Frost will also have NASA scientist Brian Day and Jet Propulsion Laboratory scientist Emily Law in attendance to lead special presentations. If your sights are set on the stars, this is sure to be an occasion for you.

Busy November 11th? Not to worry. Frost has another new exhibit that will be happening all month. A Mirror Maze: Numbers in Nature. This exhibit explores the patterns we found all around us, in nature and within our society. The crown jewel of this exhibit is definitely the Mirror Maze, where guests can lose themselves in a seemingly infinite repeating pattern of mirrors.
